GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The administration of a family settlement by trustees of a family settlement under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Maintenance Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every trustee of a family settlement carrying on the administration of a family settlement shall furnish Form IV to the District Registrar within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every trustee of a family settlement carrying on the administration of a family settlement shall make an application in Form IV to the District Registrar within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of a family settlement is undertaken, and the District Registrar shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
