GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The operation of a lift irrigation scheme by owners of a lift irrigation scheme under the Karnataka Irrigation Act, 1965, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Engineer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall furnish Form H to the Government of Karnataka within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Karnataka within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a lift irrigation scheme is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Karnataka.
