GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Fishing in a reservoir by licensees of a fishery in a reservoir under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Canal Officer, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a fishery in a reservoir carrying on fishing in a reservoir shall furnish Form E to the River Basin Authority within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fishery in a reservoir carrying on fishing in a reservoir shall make an application in Form E to the River Basin Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which fishing in a reservoir is undertaken, and the River Basin Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Rajasthan.
