GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 1 to the Settlement Officer within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Settlement Officer within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Bihar.
