GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The tapping of toddy by toddy tappers under the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every toddy tapper carrying on the tapping of toddy shall furnish Form D to the Government of West Bengal within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every toddy tapper carrying on the tapping of toddy shall make an application in Form D to the Government of West Bengal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the tapping of toddy is undertaken, and the Government of West Bengal shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of West Bengal.
