GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land under the Bihar Tenancy Act, 1885, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Bihar, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall furnish Form 1 to the State Government within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application in Form 1 to the State Government within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land assessed to revenue is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Bihar.
