GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a working women's hostel by working women's hostels under the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Child Welfare Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every working women's hostel carrying on the running of a working women's hostel shall furnish Form II to the State Commission for Women within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every working women's hostel carrying on the running of a working women's hostel shall make an application in Form II to the State Commission for Women within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a working women's hostel is undertaken, and the State Commission for Women shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
