GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The management of joint family property by managers of a joint family property under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manager of a joint family property carrying on the management of joint family property shall furnish Form VI to the Maintenance Tribunal within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every manager of a joint family property carrying on the management of joint family property shall make an application in Form VI to the Maintenance Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of joint family property is undertaken, and the Maintenance Tribunal shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
