GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The receipt of wages in a covered establishment by employees under the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Social Security Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employee carrying on the receipt of wages in a covered establishment shall furnish Form 12 to the appropriate Government within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every employee carrying on the receipt of wages in a covered establishment shall make an application in Form 12 to the appropriate Government within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of wages in a covered establishment is undertaken, and the appropriate Government shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
