GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The broadcasting of programmes by broadcasters under the Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1964, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Regional Officer of the Board, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every broadcaster carrying on the broadcasting of programmes shall furnish Form V to the Press Council within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every broadcaster carrying on the broadcasting of programmes shall make an application in Form V to the Press Council within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the broadcasting of programmes is undertaken, and the Press Council shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Karnataka.
