GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of common areas by associations of allottees under the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Rent Controller, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every association of allottees carrying on the management of common areas shall furnish Form F to the Adjudicating Officer within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every association of allottees carrying on the management of common areas shall make an application in Form F to the Adjudicating Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of common areas is undertaken, and the Adjudicating Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
