GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The driving of a motor vehicle by drivers under the Kerala Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund Act, 1985, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Motor Vehicles Inspector, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every driver carrying on the driving of a motor vehicle shall furnish Form 20 to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every driver carrying on the driving of a motor vehicle shall make an application in Form 20 to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the driving of a motor vehicle is undertaken, and the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Kerala.
