GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a ferry by operators of a ferry under the Kerala Ground Water (Control and Regulation) Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Engineer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall furnish Form C to the Tribunal within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall make an application in Form C to the Tribunal within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a ferry is undertaken, and the Tribunal shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Kerala.
