GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The construction of buildings in a vulnerable area by owners of a building in a vulnerable area under the Gujarat State Disaster Management Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Incident Commander, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building in a vulnerable area carrying on the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area shall furnish Form A to the District Authority within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a vulnerable area carrying on the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area shall make an application in Form A to the District Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the construction of buildings in a vulnerable area is undertaken, and the District Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Gujarat.
