GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The discharge of public functions by public servants under the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Public Information Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every public servant carrying on the discharge of public functions shall furnish Form A to the Central Information Commission within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every public servant carrying on the discharge of public functions shall make an application in Form A to the Central Information Commission within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the discharge of public functions is undertaken, and the Central Information Commission shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
