GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a lift irrigation scheme by owners of a lift irrigation scheme under the Karnataka Ground Water (Regulation and Control of Development and Management) Act, 2011, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Engineer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall furnish Form D to the Tribunal within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a lift irrigation scheme carrying on the operation of a lift irrigation scheme shall make an application in Form D to the Tribunal within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a lift irrigation scheme is undertaken, and the Tribunal shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
