GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The collection of tolls by toll plaza operators under the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Regional Transport Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every toll plaza operator carrying on the collection of tolls shall furnish Form 29 to the Government of Maharashtra within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every toll plaza operator carrying on the collection of tolls shall make an application in Form 29 to the Government of Maharashtra within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of tolls is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
