GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The granting of leases by lessors of immovable property under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Superintendent of Stamps, the Government of Rajasthan, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessor of immovable property carrying on the granting of leases shall furnish Form D to the District Registrar within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessor of immovable property carrying on the granting of leases shall make an application in Form D to the District Registrar within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the granting of leases is undertaken, and the District Registrar shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan.
