GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The plying of a tractor for hire by owners of a tractor plying for hire under the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Gram Sevak, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a tractor plying for hire carrying on the plying of a tractor for hire shall furnish Form 2 to the Zila Parishad within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a tractor plying for hire carrying on the plying of a tractor for hire shall make an application in Form 2 to the Zila Parishad within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the plying of a tractor for hire is undertaken, and the Zila Parishad shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of West Bengal.
