GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Punjab Excise Act, 1914, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form C to the Government of Punjab within ten days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form C to the Government of Punjab within ten days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Government of Punjab shall dispose of it within ten days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Punjab.
