GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The running of a shelter home by shelter homes under the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Child Welfare Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every shelter home carrying on the running of a shelter home shall furnish Form II to the Juvenile Justice Board within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every shelter home carrying on the running of a shelter home shall make an application in Form II to the Juvenile Justice Board within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a shelter home is undertaken, and the Juvenile Justice Board shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra.
