GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The conduct of tours by tour operators under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Site Manager, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tour operator carrying on the conduct of tours shall furnish Form II to the Director of Tourism within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tour operator carrying on the conduct of tours shall make an application in Form II to the Director of Tourism within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of tours is undertaken, and the Director of Tourism shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Kerala.
