GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The cultivation of hemp under licence by cultivators of hemp under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Inspector of Excise, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every cultivator of hemp carrying on the cultivation of hemp under licence shall furnish Form H to the Excise Commissioner within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every cultivator of hemp carrying on the cultivation of hemp under licence shall make an application in Form H to the Excise Commissioner within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of hemp under licence is undertaken, and the Excise Commissioner shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
