GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The claiming of dependants' benefit by dependants of a deceased worker under the Kerala Headload Workers Act, 1978, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Insurance Medical Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dependant of a deceased worker carrying on the claiming of dependants' benefit shall furnish Form 16 to the Welfare Board within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dependant of a deceased worker carrying on the claiming of dependants' benefit shall make an application in Form 16 to the Welfare Board within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the claiming of dependants' benefit is undertaken, and the Welfare Board shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Kerala.
