GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The maintenance of a dam by owners of a dam under the Kerala Ground Water (Control and Regulation) Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Superintending Engineer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a dam carrying on the maintenance of a dam shall furnish Form A to the Board within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a dam carrying on the maintenance of a dam shall make an application in Form A to the Board within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the maintenance of a dam is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Kerala.
