GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The collection of tolls by toll plaza operators under the Kerala Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund Act, 1985, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the registering authority, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every toll plaza operator carrying on the collection of tolls shall furnish Form 2 to the Regional Transport Authority within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every toll plaza operator carrying on the collection of tolls shall make an application in Form 2 to the Regional Transport Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of tolls is undertaken, and the Regional Transport Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Kerala.
