GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sale of court fee stamps by stamp vendors under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sheristadar, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every stamp vendor carrying on the sale of court fee stamps shall furnish Form A to the Legal Services Authority within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every stamp vendor carrying on the sale of court fee stamps shall make an application in Form A to the Legal Services Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of court fee stamps is undertaken, and the Legal Services Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
