GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The business of clearing and forwarding by clearing and forwarding agents under the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Chits, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every clearing and forwarding agent carrying on the business of clearing and forwarding shall furnish Form B to the Government of Maharashtra within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every clearing and forwarding agent carrying on the business of clearing and forwarding shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Maharashtra within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of clearing and forwarding is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
