GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Membership of a society by members under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Plant Protection Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every member carrying on membership of a society shall furnish Form B to the Government of Kerala within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every member carrying on membership of a society shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Kerala within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which membership of a society is undertaken, and the Government of Kerala shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Kerala.
