GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The manufacture of excisable articles by manufacturers under the Uttar Pradesh Excise Act, 1910, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Commissioner of Excise, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall furnish Form H to the District Excise Officer within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall make an application in Form H to the District Excise Officer within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of excisable articles is undertaken, and the District Excise Officer shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
