GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The import of food by importers of food under the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act, 1977, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Food Analyst, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every importer of food carrying on the import of food shall furnish Form E to the Referral Laboratory within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every importer of food carrying on the import of food shall make an application in Form E to the Referral Laboratory within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of seven thousand five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the import of food is undertaken, and the Referral Laboratory shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Maharashtra.
