ORDER

Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Revenue Inspector, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall furnish Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 12 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of an inam is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
