ORDER

Subject: The sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Surveyor, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall furnish Form 7 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sinking of a well on Government land is undertaken, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
