New Delhi, dated the 10th May, 2014

ORDER

Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Superintendent, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form F to the District Excise Officer within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form F to the District Excise Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the District Excise Officer shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
