NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 15th October, 2013

S.O. 3432(E).

Whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is necessary to appoint a Commission of Inquiry for the purpose of making an inquiry into a definite matter of public importance; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 (53 of 2005), the Central Government hereby appoints a Commission of Inquiry consisting of the Civil Defence Officer as its sole member, to inquire into the matter of the storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials and to report within one day.
