GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The retail sale of petroleum products by retail outlet dealers under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every retail outlet dealer carrying on the retail sale of petroleum products shall furnish Form III to the State Commission within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every retail outlet dealer carrying on the retail sale of petroleum products shall make an application in Form III to the State Commission within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the retail sale of petroleum products is undertaken, and the State Commission shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Gujarat.
