GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The execution of defence works by contractors for defence works under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Provost Marshal, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every contractor for defence works carrying on the execution of defence works shall furnish Form H to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for defence works carrying on the execution of defence works shall make an application in Form H to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of defence works is undertaken, and the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
