GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall furnish Form 8 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 8 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
