GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The hereditary management of a temple by hereditary trustees under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Endowments, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every hereditary trustee carrying on the hereditary management of a temple shall furnish Form A to the Registrar of Societies within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hereditary trustee carrying on the hereditary management of a temple shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Societies within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the hereditary management of a temple is undertaken, and the Registrar of Societies shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Odisha.
