GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The retail vend of liquor by retail vendors under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall furnish Form D to the Excise Commissioner within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall make an application in Form D to the Excise Commissioner within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the retail vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Excise Commissioner shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
