GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a stadium by operators of a stadium under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sports Officer, the Government of Goa, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a stadium carrying on the running of a stadium shall furnish Form C to the State Sports Council within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a stadium carrying on the running of a stadium shall make an application in Form C to the State Sports Council within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a stadium is undertaken, and the State Sports Council shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Goa.
