Chandigarh, dated the 19th May, 2023

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 14 to the Tahsildar within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Tahsildar within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Punjab.
