GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The treatment of waste by operators of a waste treatment facility under the Kerala Forest Act, 1961, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Forest Guard, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a waste treatment facility carrying on the treatment of waste shall furnish Form VII to the Government of Kerala within one hundred and eighty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a waste treatment facility carrying on the treatment of waste shall make an application in Form VII to the Government of Kerala within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the treatment of waste is undertaken, and the Government of Kerala shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Kerala.
