GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of ambulances by ambulance operators under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of the Council, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every ambulance operator carrying on the operation of ambulances shall furnish Form 28 to the Appropriate Authority within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every ambulance operator carrying on the operation of ambulances shall make an application in Form 28 to the Appropriate Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of ambulances is undertaken, and the Appropriate Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.
