GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The letting of premises for marriages by licensed marriage halls under the Maharashtra Regulation of Marriage Bureaus and Registration of Marriages Act, 1998, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Marriage Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed marriage hall carrying on the letting of premises for marriages shall furnish Form V to the District Registrar within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed marriage hall carrying on the letting of premises for marriages shall make an application in Form V to the District Registrar within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the letting of premises for marriages is undertaken, and the District Registrar shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Maharashtra.
