ORDER

Subject: The sale of liquor for consumption on the premises by bar licensees under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every bar licensee carrying on the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises shall furnish Form B to the District Excise Officer within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bar licensee carrying on the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises shall make an application in Form B to the District Excise Officer within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of liquor for consumption on the premises is undertaken, and the District Excise Officer shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
