GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple under the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act, 2013, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Endowments, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall furnish Form A to the Endowments Tribunal within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall make an application in Form A to the Endowments Tribunal within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of a temple is undertaken, and the Endowments Tribunal shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Maharashtra.
