GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Service as a conductor by conductors of a stage carriage under the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Regional Transport Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every conductor of a stage carriage carrying on service as a conductor shall furnish Form 4 to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every conductor of a stage carriage carrying on service as a conductor shall make an application in Form 4 to the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which service as a conductor is undertaken, and the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Karnataka.
