GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The transfer of property by transferees under the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1962, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Collector, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every transferee carrying on the transfer of property shall furnish Form 3 to the Land Acquisition Officer within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every transferee carrying on the transfer of property shall make an application in Form 3 to the Land Acquisition Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transfer of property is undertaken, and the Land Acquisition Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.
