Mumbai, dated the 2nd February, 2022

GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The sale of food by sellers under the Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act, 1977, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Food Safety Supervisor, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every seller carrying on the sale of food shall furnish Form D to the Designated Officer within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every seller carrying on the sale of food shall make an application in Form D to the Designated Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of food is undertaken, and the Designated Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Maharashtra.
